This gallery contains all my artworks that were shot during multiple sessions at the ruins of the Koresteia region. The "Koresteia" are a cluster of abandoned, early 18th century settlements located at north-west Macedonia, Greece. All photos were taken with unconventional/experimental lenses and unusual filters. In addition to the low-key image editing, the whole concept of the series is such as to recreate the sense of transient memory, a connection to the past, along with a fitting mood. Each of these ruins has its own psyche, closely related to the life of its inhabitants. I hope that this series will be a good reason to revive the historic importance of the Koresteia settlements.
